Serve it Up: The Roll of Service Providers in Creating Welcoming Communities

This paper measures service levels, capacity, coordination, and availability of services provided by organizations in the five largest communities in Northern Ontario: North Bay, Timmins, Sudbury, Sault Ste. Marie, and Thunder Bay. These five communities are participating in the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot. The information in the paper can be used to better understand gaps pertaining to services offered, eligibility, and affordability. In addition, it will help assess capacity and coordination among service providers in the urban regions of Northern Ontario.

This program is an annual effort to leverage our individual resources to collect consistent, comparable data to inform decision-making at the local, regional, provincial, and national levels
