Animbiigoo Zaagi’igan Anishinaabek (AZA), Bingwi Neyaashi Anishinaabek (BNA), and Lac des Mille Lacs First Nation (LDMLFN) have faced challenges in maintaining the social, economic, and cultural integrity of their nations over the last three centuries. They are now looking to rebuild. This paper and its companion volumes, demonstrate that, to rebuild successfully, these nations must have a foundation of sustainable economic prosperity.
