NPI hosted this information session for Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC). The session included presentation from guest speakers on CMHC's programs and priorities, followed by a short Q&A. CMHC has programs and people intended to leverage action in every community to get houses built and make homes accessible across Canada. Jamie Shipley Jamie has 30 years’ experience in the residential construction industry including over 25 years with CMHC. Jamie’s role at CMHC includes promoting the creation of sustainable affordable housing and delivering on the National Housing Strategy. Jamie shares technical and social economic information about aging in place and affordable housing programs with builders, developers, renovators, planners, and housing design professionals across Ontario. Jamie is also a member of the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists.

Patrick Larocque Patrick Larocque is a Indigenous and Northern Housing Specialist at Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation. Patrick works closely with First Nation communities and organizations on their housing goals by providing his expertise and guidance on CMHCs range of housing solutions and funding options to advance their housing outcomes.

Ishita Panchal Ishita Panchal is a Specialist, Indigenous and Northern Housing Solutions, Ontario at CMHC. She has been working directly with the first nation communities for over 7 years; works in partnership with the Indigenous clients On and Off-Reserve to help them address their housing related matters. She provides her expertise and guidance on a range of CMHC’s housing solutions/programs to achieve their housing objectives.

Jeff Kolibash Jeff Kolibash is the Multi-Unit Client Solutions Specialist, Northern Ontario at CMHC. Jeff was born and raised in Sudbury and has been with CMHC since January 2011, first as the Corporate Representative for Northern Ontario (territory includes the District Municipality of Muskoka north to the Ontario/Manitoba border) and now as the Multi-Unit Client Solutions Specialist. Prior to coming to CMHC Jeff was the Principal Planner for the Town of Gravenhurst and subsequently as the Director of Planning for the Sudbury East Planning Board. Jeff continues to live in Sudbury and is the proud father of 3 wonderful boys. |
